AUSTIN – Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick issued this statement today following the passage of Senate Bill 24 – Alternatives to Abortion Information Act, by Sen. Eddie Lucio, D-Brownsville:

“I congratulate Sen. Lucio on passing this important legislation and all the senators who took a stand to protect the unborn. It is essential that Texas mothers have all the relevant information they need as they consider a grave decision like abortion. This bill provides one more line of defense for the defenseless. Texans remain steadfast in their commitment to protect all life.”
