AUSTIN – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick issued the following statement today in response to the news of a church shooting in White Settlement, Texas:

“I received the tragic news this morning of the church shooting in White Settlement where at least two people were killed. This shooting in a place of worship makes this evil crime even more horrific. I am on my way to White Settlement to meet with law enforcement and get more information about the shooting victims, those who were injured and the brave response of the church members who likely stopped the loss of additional lives. I ask that every Texan keep the West Freeway Church of Christ and the community of White Settlement in their prayers.”
